Charles Aznavour – Boursorama

The original song “T’es Moyen” (You’re Average), composed and performed by French musicians Faf Larage and Sebastien Damiani, is born out of an encounter of hip-hop and classical music. An encounter that had already known great success when the legendary French hip hop group IAM had reinterpreted cult songs from their repertoire accompanied by classical musicians in a concert in 2016. This time, the duo has worked together to write an original track with powerful, meaningful lyrics – an ode to personal ambition with a positive, humorous message.

The song takes us back to the origins of hip-hop by sampling Charles Aznavour’s classic sample in “Parce que tu crois”. This new track’s instrumental is used in Boursorama Bank’s new campaign “the bank that everyone wants to recommend”, to highlight the fact that they are definitely not average.
