Blackbox & Rossini – Carolina Herrera

Creative Search, Licensing, Music Supervision

A bold vision of empowered elegance sweeps Central Park in Carolina Herrera’s fall campaign, exuding the vibrancy of Manhattan as seen by creative director Wes Gordon and captured by photographer Charlotte Wales.

Robert Mapplethorpe’s floral still life images are at the root of the advertising campaign which features top models Grace Elizabeth, Sara Hoek and Eniola Abioro. The campaign sees these women in a journey from Central Park’s Sheep’s Meadow to a bustling mid-town where the empowering allure of femininity, flora and the city itself inspires the fresh gardens of bright tulle and bold hues.

To reflect the refined heritage of the house with a refreshing perspective, Too Young has soundtracked the grand gestures and blooming silhouettes with two intriguingly contrasting songs: Black Box’s 90s early house classic ‘Rockin To The Music’ and Rossini’s ‘Il barbiere di Siviglia’s’ (The Barber of Seville) 1st Act ‘Cavatina: Largo Al Factotum della citta’.
