Jean Paul Gaultier’s Divine’s fragrance is a floral symphony of natural scents that are iressistibly seductive. The campaign is a celebration of feminine power through the figure of a divine goddess. Empowered, free, beautiful, and mysterious, the feminine heroine could not be soundtracked by any other than soprano Maria Callas, also known as “La Divina”, which is widely regarded as one of the most iconic opera voices of the 20th Century.  

A bel canto virtuoso, Callas was praised as much for her lyrical and dramatic prowess as for her graceful elegance. Among the diverse repertoire of her prolific legacy, Callas’ Casta Diva aria, a performance of an opera from Vincenzo Bellini, epitomizes the revival of 19th-century bel canto works. For this latest Jean Paul Gaultier’s Divine campaign, the past meets the present and future with an exclusive re-work by Britsh member of Massive Attack, Robert (3D) del Naja, who subtly incorporates his distinctive trip-hop-infused touch.
