Mac Cosmetics returns with its Locked Kiss campaign. A bold product evoking magnetic attraction had to be paired with an equally irresistible soundtrack: Chibi, one of Esty’s latest releases.

Esty is a talented Dominican American artist with an enticing, versatile voice and a defining aesthetic. With three EPs and an album over the last decade, her signature sound combines dembow, trap, and hyperpop with occasional nods to anime. A fierce personality, she is not afraid of exposing her vulnerable side in her lyrics, confidently turning it into assertive declarations of strength over dancy Caribbean rhythms. 

Her track “Chibi” shows a more dembow-heavy side of her artistry, driven by sensual vocals over dry percussion.
